Arrowleaf Clover

Trifolium vesiculosum
In the United States: Introduced

Honeybees forage extensively on arrowleaf clover for its high-quality nectar that supports surplus honey production and abundant pollen rich in protein. Bloom peaks in late spring, providing a prolonged flowering period of several weeks. As an annual legume, it reseeds readily in well-drained soils but is shade-intolerant and performs best at pH 6.0-7.5.
