Arroyo Willow
Arroyo willow provides high-quality pollen and moderate nectar to honeybees during its early spring bloom, aiding colony buildup prior to major nectar flows. Catkins emerge from February to May, with peak visitation in March and April in temperate zones. It prefers moist, riparian habitats and may form thickets that benefit from pruning to control size and prevent suckering.
