Honeybees are drawn to Carolina phlox for its rich nectar supplies during the midsummer bloom period, offering a reliable forage when many woodland plants have faded. The tubular flowers provide moderate pollen for bee nutrition. This upright clumper may need staking in rich soils to prevent flopping and benefits from periodic division to sustain blooming vigor.
