Coastal Plain Willow
Honeybees visit coastal plain willow for its early spring nectar and highly nutritious pollen, which supports brood rearing during a time of limited forage. Peak bloom occurs from March to May in temperate climates, providing a vital boost to colonies emerging from winter. It prefers moist to wet soils and can sucker to form thickets, requiring occasional pruning to manage growth and shape.
