Lemonade Berry

Rhus integrifolia
In the United States: Native · also called lemonadeberry, lemonade sumac

Lemonade berry offers moderate nectar and pollen rewards to honeybees, attracting foragers to its small white-to-pink flowers in tight clusters during the early spring bloom period from February to May. Peak visitation occurs in March and April in suitable climates. This evergreen shrub thrives in well-drained soils and full sun, is highly drought-tolerant once established, and benefits from occasional pruning to control size and shape.
