Pecan
Honeybees rarely visit pecan trees due to the absence of nectar and low-protein, wind-dispersed pollen that is seldom collected. Peak bloom occurs in April within the March-May window. As large trees requiring full sun and ample space, they offer minimal forage value but can provide some early-season pollen in orchards if bees are foraging nearby.
