Swamp Azalea
Honeybees forage on swamp azalea for its fragrant nectar and pollen from tubular white flowers that bloom late spring through midsummer. Peak visitation occurs in June when flowers are most abundant in moist, acidic environments. The plant prefers consistently wet soils and may need protection from browsing mammals in exposed sites.
