Utah buttercup provides early-season pollen for honeybees in moist, open habitats at higher elevations. It blooms from late spring through early summer, offering a minor nectar source that bees visit opportunistically. The plant prefers well-drained, moist soils and may go dormant in dry summers, requiring supplemental moisture in cultivation.
