Western Trillium
Western trillium provides pollen to honeybees and other early-season foragers but offers no nectar reward. It blooms briefly in early spring with peak in April, supporting woodland bee activity before canopy closure. Slow to establish from rhizomes, it requires moist, shaded habitats and can be vulnerable to deer browsing.
