Woolly Bluecurls
Honeybees forage on woolly bluecurls for moderate amounts of nectar and pollen during its primary spring bloom from March to June, peaking in April and May. This evergreen shrub supports pollinators in dry, well-drained chaparral habitats but is short-lived, often lasting only a few years and requiring good drainage to prevent root rot. Deadheading can extend flowering, but it may need supplemental water in extreme drought for consistent bee resources.
