Yaupon Holly
Honeybees visit Yaupon Holly for its small white spring flowers rich in nectar and pollen, providing an early-season boost during the March to May bloom. Peak foraging occurs in April in its native range. This dioecious native shrub requires both male and female plants for berry production but supports bees on either; it tolerates a wide range of soils and is not invasive.
